Legacy Real Estate & Development, the Management Company for the Cambridge Square mixed-use community in Ooltewah, has announced Shane’s Rib Shack has signed-on to occupy 3,000 square feet in a new 13,000 square foot building to be constructed on Cambridge’s public square. An opening date is expected in late 2016.
Shane’s Rib Shack is one of the country’s leading fast casual barbecue concepts and the Cambridge Square location will be owned and operated by local entrepreneurs Chad and Kristin Cocks.
“Shane’s has a strong reputation for excellent food and service,” said Cambridge Marketing Director Jim Cheney. “They are also known for playing an active role in their community which has always been an important element of our tenant family at Cambridge. We are very proud to have them on board and look forward to bringing world-class BBQ to the greater Ooltewah market.”
Shane's Rib Shack is a true American rib shack, known for its slow-cooked ribs, hand-chopped chicken and pork, and many southern sides to complement each plate. The original shack was founded in 2002, in McDonough, Ga. by Shane Thompson, who started the restaurant with his grandfather's secret BBQ sauce.
The addition of Shane’s Rib Shack brings the total number of Cambridge tenants to seventeen. Concepts include: Ceniza, Heaven & Ale, Hudson Cook, Legacy Real Estate & Development, Lupi’s Pizza Pies, Mixed Up Cup, Morning Pointe/IHP, Johnston Southern, Ooltewah Medical Services, Sentef Medical Centers, Spalon Three, Southern Burger Co., Summit Physical Therapy, Tedford Family Dentistry, Wine Down Ooltewah, Wired Coffee Bar, and Yoga East.
