3 Ooltewah Players Dismissed From Team After Hazing Incident At Gatlinburg Cabin

Three players have been dismissed from the Ooltewah High School basketball team after a fellow team member had to undergo surgery after being hazed.

The incident happened Tuesday night at a rental cabin in Gatlinburg.

The player was taken to LeConte Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

The team was in Gatlinburg for a basketball tournament.

A Gatlinburg detective said charges are pending.

Ooltewah next plays at a tournament at Chattanooga State.
