Milligan's Lenoir Named AAC Tennis Player Of The Week

Former CSAS Earns First Conference Honor

Jackson Lenoir, former Chattanooga Arts and Sciences tennis standout now a junior at Milligan College, has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Lenoir, earning the first POW honor of his career, teamed up with Fernando Gonzalez for a perfect 3-0 doubles record last week. In the second match, Lenoir and Gonzalez faced a 7-3 deficit only to rally for six straight games to clinch the victory.

Lenior and Gonzalez, the Buffaloes’ No.

2 doubles team, are 4-1 this season and have won three matches in a row. Lenoir is 2-3 playing in the third and fourth slots.

In 2014, Milligan’s lost in the AAC tournament semifinals to SCAD-Atlanta.

At CSAS, Lenoir helped his team to the 2011 state semifinals, was a state doubles semifinalist in 2010 and stage singles finalist in 2011 and 2012.
