Stephen E. Smith, 61, of Cleveland, Tennessee, died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at his home in the presence of praying friends and loved ones.
Brother Smith was an ordained bishop and served as General Overseer of The Church of God from 2006 until his death.
Survivors include one son, Jonathan Smith (Emilee) of Aurora, CO; one daughter, Rebekah Horne (James) of Bessemer, AL; ten grandchildren; his wife of 41 years, Vicki; one sister, Sue Fox of Andrews, TX; and one brother, Kenneth Smith of Mustang, OK.
The family will receive friends at The Church of God, Zion Hill (Tillie Rd) on Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., with funeral services at 2 p.m.
