Jack Johnson, Jr., 66, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his family.  

He was the associate minister at the First Baptist Church of Hixson and a former employee of Smurfit-Stone Corporation and Mercury Cab Company. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Johnson, Sr. and Mary Johnson; and grandson, Jaylon Johnson.  

He is survived by his wife, Arnella Johnson; sons, Jack Johnson III, Timothy (Penney) Johnson, and Donnie (Kenyetta) Smith; daughter, Felicia Parmes; six brothers, Jesse (Janice) Johnson, Willie (Vickie) Johnson, Sr., Bill (Beverly) Johnson, Sr., Robert Brown, Ronnie (Veronica) Johnson, Sr., and Wade (Wendolyn) Johnson, Sr.; five sisters, Octavia King, Mary (David) Rogers, Sharon (Ngaduba) Williams, Tawana (James) Millsap, and Annie B. Bolding; nine grandchildren; two aunts; one uncle; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many devoted friends. 

He will lie in state on Friday, Jan. 15, after 1 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Apostle Ronnie Johnson, Sr. as the eulogist. 

Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East
