The Jean Bradford Memorial Scholarship was established in 1996 by the Chattanooga Chapter of Executive Women International in memory of former EWI member Jean (Mrs. James) Bradford.  The scholarship assists women, particularly displaced homemakers and single mothers, who return to school to enhance their career opportunities.

"UTC and the Educational Opportunity Center has selected three amazing single women as recipients of the EWI Jean Bradford Scholarship," officials said.

The scholarship recipients are Tina Clevenger, Alicia Kubik and Kari Roberts.
