Chatt Comix Co-Op To Release Halloween Comic Anthology

  • Monday, October 17, 2016

The Chatt Comix Co-Op will release “Cauldron O’ Comix: A Hallow-Zine Anthology” Wednesday, exclusively at Infinity Flux. The anthology is comprised of 10 tales, created by 13 local artist and writers, and is completely produced and printed in Chattanooga.

The comics range from cute and lighthearted to downright chilling, and are recommended for ages 13+.

Each copy is $5, and all proceeds go toward the continued creative endeavors of the Chatt Comix Co-Op, a local not-for-profit organization.

The Hallow-Zine Anthology will be available for sale beginning Wednesday through the end of the month at Infinity Flux. The anthology will also be for sale at Cine Rama’s Frightening Ass Film Festival on Oct. 29.

The Chatt Comix Co-Op is a group of writers and artists who share a passion for creating and promoting comics. The group functions as a creative support group and vehicle for producing work with other locals.  Within the first six months of its inception, the Co-Op has completed two anthologies (the other a Chattanooga-themed anthology set to release at MAINx24 this December), and is currently working on two more. The group is comprised of professional and novice writers and artists, is free to join, and is always accepting new members who are interested in creating comics. The Co-Op meets on the first and third Thursdays of every month at Infinity Flux: Cards, Comics, and Games, 3643 Hixson Pike.
