Due to icy road conditions in the mountain areas, Hamilton County School will be closed Tuesday.
School age child care will be also be closed. Twelve month employees will report by 10 a.m.
Chattanooga Christian School began closing early at 10 a.m.
Marion, Grundy and Polk schools are closed Tuesday due to the inclement weather.
There will be no Bradley-Polk County Adult Ed classes Tuesday night.
Georgia Northwestern Technical College will be closing all campuses at 10 a.m.

Walker County Transit will be closed Tuesday.

Whitfield County Schools will be dismissing early Tuesday due to the weather forecast. Elementary dismissal will be at noon. Middle and high school dismissal will be at 1 p.m. Students who drive to school will also be dismissed at 1 p.m. There will be no after school childcare Tuesday afternoon.
