Jim “Stub” Stubblefield, 73, of LaFayette, Georgia,  passed  away Thursday, May 12, 2016.

Stub worked  for  Service  Auto  Parts  and   O’Reilly Auto Parts with 45 years of dedicated service.

He is survived by his loving  wife,  Sharon Elaine Stubblefield  of  LaFayette; daughter, Angie (Jack) Winesbourgh of Chickamauga;  sons, Mike (Ruthann) Stubblefield of Pensacola, FL   and Robert (Karen) Stubblefield  of  LaFayette;  brother, Bill (Artie) Stubblefield  of LaFayette;  grandchildren,  James Lee Austin Stubblefield of Rock Spring, Tascha Dienhart Gordon of Meridian, MS, Melissa Dienhart of Pensacola, FL, Jeanna Stubblefield of Rock Spring, Brittany (Chris) McBryar of Trenton, GA  and Megan (Michael) Schrimpsher of Flintstone, GA;  brother-in-law, Mike Ramey; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral  from the Wallis Memorial Chapel will be Sunday, May 15, at 4 p.m. with a nephew and David Stubblefield officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens. Pallbearers  are Michael Schrimpsher, Jack Winesburgh, Chris McBryar, Mike Lemming, Barry Bourget, and Luke Williams.

Family will receive friends at  the funeral home Saturday, May 14 from 5-8 p.m.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
