Barbara Cochran Justice, formerly of Chattanooga, died on Friday, May 20, 2016 under hospice care in Crossville, TN. She will always be remembered as a dedicated wife and mother.

Barbara was born in Reeves, Ga., and raised in Chattanooga.  She attended Central High School and graduated from Americus High School.  She returned to Chattanooga after graduation and was a charter member of Ridgeview Baptist Church.  She was a long-time member of South Seminole Baptist Church, where she belonged to various groups and was a current member of Second Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Justice was the owner and operator of America’s Best Tours in Chattanooga and was involved with the Garden Club in East Ridge, directed weddings and volunteered with various elderly programs in Chattanooga.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Daniel and Janie Dell Cochran; grandson, Justin Jeffery; sisters, Arlene Dunn Hester and Ann Hall; and brother, Malone Cochran.

Surviving are her children, Stephen C. (Diane) Justice and Candice J. (Harold) Jeffery; grandchildren, Stephen J. (Mary) Jeffery, London C. Justice and Alexis (Dom) Biggers; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Dexter; sister, June Nix; brothers, Daniel (Cindy) Cochran and Derry (Mavis) Cochran; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Mayy 23, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, at Second Presbyterian Church, 700 Pine St., Chattanooga, Tn. 37402, with Elder Diane W. Stocker and Reverend Dr. David Kidd officiating.

Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.

Memorial donations may be made to Cumberland Hospice House, 30 East Adams Street, Crossville, Tn. 38555.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
