HCDE Releases Central Office And School Administrative Appointments

The Hamilton County Department of Education Interim Superintendent Dr. Kirk Kelly announced Thursday several new principal and central office appointments.  Included in the appointments is Ooltewah high school Principal Robin Copp, replacing Jim Jarvis.
   

“Strong school leadership is essential to student success. Great school leaders are the key to ensuring there is an excellent teacher in every classroom. We are confident that these principals will provide outstanding leadership in their new placements,“ said Dr. Kelly.

Chief Academic Officer Jill Levine added, “The more challenging the circumstance, the more leadership matters. There are great challenges in our schools, but our central office team is ready to work alongside these leaders and support them as they create positive change for students and teachers.”

The following is a list of new appointments:

Steve Henry – Soddy Daisy High
Robin Copp – Ooltewah High
Todd Stinson – Signal Mountain Middle/High
Elaine Harper – Red Bank High
Blake Freeman – Normal Park Museum Magnet
Jane Reynolds – Soddy Daisy Middle
Rashaad Williams – Brown Middle
Angela Cass – East Ridge Middle
Arielle Hayes – Dalewood Middle
Tiffany Earvin – Orchard Knob Middle
Jeana Turner – Big Ridge Elementary
Ruthie Panni – Dupont Elementary
Marthel Young – East Brainerd Elementary
Cheri Grant-Guerdon – Rivermont Elementary
Brenda Cothran – Woodmore Elementary

Central Office:
Keri Randolph – Director of Innovation
Becky Coleman – Director of Pre-K and K-3 Literacy
Angelia Askins – Director of Classified Personnel

Assistant principal assignments will be announced on Friday.
