2 Young Men Shot In Separate Incidents Sunday Night In Latest Chattanooga Violence

Two young men were shot in separate incidents on Sunday night in the latest spate of Chattanooga violence.

Chattanooga Police responded to the 1200 block of Tunnel Boulevard at 8:10 p.m. on the report of a person shot. There police located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, Casey Carter, 20, was transported to a local hospital by personal vehicle.

He suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The suspect was described as being in a blue Mercury.

At 11:10 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 200 block of West 38th St. on the report of a person shot. There police located another victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, 23-year-old Aaron Mitchell, was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Hamilton County EMS treated the victim on the scene and transported him to a local hospital.

The suspect is described as being in a dark-colored sedan.

Chattanooga Police Violent Crimes Bureau Investigators are following all actionable leads.
