Pauline Wright Lacy, 95, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Lacy was the daughter of the late Hattie Taylor Hawkins and Chester Hawkins; and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Ken Wright Sr., Winston Mullinax and Wayne Lacy; her son, Bill Wright; her granddaughter, Melisa Wright; and her brother, Wallace Hawkins.
Mrs. Lacy was a homemaker and she enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower and vegetable garden. She also enjoyed canning the vegetables from her garden. Mrs. Lacy was a member of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Wilma Johnson and her husband Arnold; her son, Ken Wright Jr. and his wife Diane all of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Tonia Hamilton and her husband Billy, Sandra Holloway, Tammy Hawkins and her husband Michael, Renee Goodwin and her husband Ronald and Ronnie Wright and his wife Danette; nine great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, July 23, at 1 p.m. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Daniel White, Reverend Lee Ingram and Reverend Jerry Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Brian Hopkins, Jason Freeman, Jonathan Freeman, Josh Hamilton, Colby Ballinger and Robbie Wright serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Billy Hamilton, Mike Hopkins, Dennis Holloway and Ronnie Wright.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 22 at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
