Man, 21, Shot While Walking Along E. 19th Street

A 21-year-old man was shot Friday afternoon as he waked along E. 19th Street.

The victim was identified as Quincy McConnell.

Chattanooga Police officers responded to a local hospital on a report of a gunshot victim arriving for treatment.

The victim arrived at the hospital via personal vehicle. He suffered a non-life threatening injury.

The victim said he was walking in the 2500 block of E. 19th St. when he was shot by someone in a passing vehicle.

Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating the incident.
