KODAK, Tenn.  -- T.J. White had three hits and five runs batted in as the Chattanooga Lookouts topped the Tennessee Smokies 11-6 on Sunday.

The Lookouts are on a course to win both halves of the North Division of the Southern League. Chattanooga has a 7.0 game lead over the Montgomery Biscuits. Any combination of nine Lookouts wins or Biscuits losses and the Lookouts win the second-half

Lewis Thorpe made his Double-A debut and tossed six innings.

He allowed four runs on five hits (two home runs) while striking out seven and walking two. Thorpe (1-0) picked up the win.

Chattanooga started the scoring with a big second inning, when it put up four runs, including a two-run single by White.

The Lookouts pounded out multiple runs in the second, third, fourth, and fifth innings to outlast Tennessee. Even with Chattanooga's 17 hits, catcher Brian Olson was the lone Lookouts batter to record an extra-base hit.

Seven of the nine batters in the line-up recorded multiple hits and all but two batters had at least one RBI. Jonathan Rodriguez and Andy Wilkins each reached base four times while scoring three runs apiece.

Todd Van Steensel pitched two scoreless innings of relief.

Sam Clay ran into some trouble in the ninth as he walked five batters and Gabriel Moya was called on for his 22nd save.
