Dalton State Women's Soccer Defeats Oakwood 11-1

The Lady Roadrunners had a fantastic finish to a great weekend, defeating Oakwood (Ala.) 11-1 on Sunday at Lakeshore Park and capping a two-day stretch in which the Lady Birds outscored their opponents 21-1.

A'Keila Raines got the Dalton State train rolling early with a goal in the 3'.
She would add additional goals in the 19' and 24' marks of the game for the Hat Trick. 
Brittany Jensen would get on the tally sheet with goals in the 7' and 14'. Sophomore Adriana Romera would also collect two goals on the day in the 32' & 38'.

Katie MercerJacqueline Tapia and Ashlyn Clements would each collect their first career goals in the big win, while Keyle Snyder added her third goal of the season.

The Lady Roadrunners will be back in action on Wednesday, September 20 when they travel to Laurinburg, N.C. to take on Appalachian Athletic Conferece foe St. Andrews (N.C.)
