AMT begins its phase two expansion
American Mechanized Technology, LLC announces the Phase Two expansion of its machine shop and production capabilities. AMT is currently adding several Vertical Milling and Turning Centers as well as Surface and ID & OD Grinding and Wire EDM capabilities.
This second phase expansion will effectively double the current machinery and output capabilities of AMT. It is planned to further increase personnel in the production center.
As part of this second phase expansion AMT will be relocating the machining and production part of the business into an 82,000-square foot facility at 3115 Freeman St. early in October. The production facility is located about one and a half blocks north of the AMT corporate offices that will continue operations at the 2802 Belle Arbor Ave. address, one block East of Amnicola Highway.
