Police have charged Glen Thomas Bailey after a resident at 3213 South St. said he was assaulted and robbed.

Bailey, 28, was charged with aggravated robbery.

In the incident on Sunday, Ronald Jackway said he had some company and they played dominoes. He said the company left around 11:30 p.m., but one of them came back and knocked on his door.

He said he opened the door and spoke to a man he knew as "June." He said June was there earlier with his brother and another man.

He said he turned around and June walked in after him, then grabbed him from behind and took him to the floor. He said as he went down he hit his head on the corner of a table, causing him to black out.

When he woke up, the suspect was gone and $2,400 was missing from his pocket, he stated.

The residence has surveillance cameras, which police were able to view. The video confirmed the account of a man leaving and then coming back.

The suspect was a dark-skinned black male with glasses, a red beanie hat, a chin strap beard, a red plaid shirt, jeans and a long beige coat.

The suspect could be seen fleeing to his vehicle, a black 2017 Toyota Yaris.

Police were later supplied with the suspect's name as Glen Bailey.  The victim picked Bailey out of a lineup.

South Street is off Shallowford Road.
