Reps. McCormick, Carter Featured At Mason Fundraiser, While Developers Wood, Healy Help Helton In District 30 Race

Reps. Gerald McCormick and Mike Carter are among the hosts of a fundraiser for Jonathan Mason, while developers Ethan and Matt Wood and John Healy are helping Esther Helton.

Mr. Mason, who has been involved in a number of past campaigns, will have a fundraiser on Jan. 12 from 5-7 p.m. at the Walden Club.

Ms. Helton, who is on the East Ridge City Council, has a fundraiser next Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Reunion Clubhouse, 1100 Morris Lane. 

Both are candidates for the state House seat being vacated by Marc Gravitt, who is running for register of deeds.

The Woods and Mr. Healy have been carrying out the Jordan Crossing development at the entrance to Camp Jordan in East Ridge.

Other Helton hosts are Mike and Angie McKee and John and Karen Davis.

Other hosts for the Mason reception include County Commissioner Sabrena Smedley and City Councilman Darrin Ledford along with Rev. Bill Mason and his wife Beth, Sandra and Roger Tuder and Connie and John Weathers.

Mitch Patel is placing a double bet, serving as a host for both receptions.
