James A. “Jack” Morgan, 80, of Rossville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He was a wonderful Christian man and was a member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church. Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing. He retired from Central Soya / ADM after 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Daisy Morgan; and sister, Carolyn Harris.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Merida Morgan; daughters, Denise (Eddie) Walker and Judith Elizabeth Foster; sisters, Ann McCoy, Mary Ellis Dean and Mildred Spurgeon; brother, Joseph Donald Morgan; special granddaughters, Lana Steele and Carrie Hackney; five great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, March 2 in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Bill Procter and Bro. Bill Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018.
