Three County School Board members whose seats come before the voters in August are facing opposition.
Chairman Steve Highlander appeared to be able to skate in for the District 9 seat. However, D'Andre Anderson qualified on the eve of the deadline.
In District 3, Joe Smith is opposed by Miracle Hurley.
Ann Pierre is running against Karitsa Mosley Jones in District 5.
Joe Galloway is not seeking re-election in District 6.
Five people picked up papers to run. However, Jenny Hill and Michael Henry were the only ones to return a signed petition.
Tucker McClendon is challenging incumbent David Testerman in District 8.
