Chattanooga FC Opens Regular Season This Week Against Emerald Force SC

  • Monday, May 14, 2018
Hot on the heels of a commanding win against Seattle Sounders FC U23, the boys in blue are excited to kick off the NPSL regular season at home this Saturday against Emerald Force. The game will be at 7:30 p.m.
Chattanooga Football Club dominated the match against the PDL club this past Saturday, and Coach Bill Elliot is confident that momentum will carry over into the next match.

"We looked sharp. Juan Sanchez really stepped up and played a great game, as did Everson Lima and some others, too." said Coach Elliott. "we still have some work to do, certainly, but we're looking forward to kicking off the season and seeing what these guys can do."

Emerald Force opened their season on Saturday, falling to New Orleans Jesters 4-0 in New Orleans. They will play Atlanta Silverbacks Wednesday, before visiting Finley Stadium on Saturday.

"Emerald Force is a good organization, and they always bring a certain toughness with them." said Sean McDaniel, GM, Chattanooga FC. "I expect nothing less this weekend. We'll need to play our best game, and see what happens."

Tickets are on sale now at shop.chattanoogafc.com for $10.
