Board and Brush Creative Studio, a Do It Yourself home décor design shop, has signed on at Cambridge Square, according to Cambridge Marketing Director Jim Cheney.

“I am thrilled to bring Board and Brush to Cambridge Square and Ooltewah to provide a local creative option for a night out with friends and family,” said owner, Wesley Odum. “Board and Brush is the perfect way to have a fun ladies night out, host a unique bachelorette party, a creative birthday party, or a memorable date night. I believe the community will be excited to have an engaging entertainment option so close to home.”

Operated by local entrepreneur Wesley Odum, Board and Brush specializes in DIY group, creative workshops that are accessible to beginners as well as experienced designers. In addition to woodworking, customers can create original décor designs with other materials such as glass, chalkboards, canvas pillows, slate, and terra cotta pots. Instructors are on hand to oversee the workshops. All materials are provided and customers can choose between more than 400 existing designs or they can customize their own project.

“Cambridge Square has emerged not only as a dining and retail destination, but has also brought various cultural elements to the Ooltewah area through music and the arts,” said Mr. Cheney. “Board and Brush fits that profile perfectly. It encourages creativity and community and that is a big part of what makes us tick. And with the first phase of residential homes well underway, this is the perfect place to spruce up your new residence.”

Cambridge Square is a residential, retail, and commercial community located off I-75’s exit 11 in Ooltewah.
