The Chattanooga Hamilton County Branch of the NAACP will host it’s 32nd Annual Ruby Hurley Image Awards Tuesday at the Trade and Convention Center.
This year headliner and keynote speaker is the world renown Civil Rights Activist Reverend Al Sharpton.
The Ruby Hurley Image Awards was developed 32 years ago to recognized leaders in the community for their activism and dedication to improve the quality of life for their fellow man. Each honoree was nominated by individuals from the community, vetted and voted on by members of the Executive Committee of the NAACP.
The Ruby Hurley Image Awards is dedicated to Civil Rights Activist Ruby Hurley for her life commitment and dedication to the NAACP and her courageous efforts and works that changed the history in America during the Civil Rights Movement.
