Danger On The Horizon

  • Friday, October 4, 2019

While everyone is preoccupied by defending the Constitution (specifically the 2nd Amendment), pompous windbags Nadler and Schiff dancing gleefully around the impeachment tree, dire warnings of coastal cities drowning and Democrat candidates for president appealing for votes by promising trillion dollar give away plans, a very chilling comment by a member of Congress has come to light.

Recently Rep. Rashida Tlaib, told her Detroit constituents that discussions are being held among lawmakers about how to arrest members of the Trump administration and where to incarcerate them. She stated this is treading into uncharted territory. She is right about that.

Any comment like this should be taken seriously. It clearly shows a frightening thought process. It raises the question of what they would do to any political opponent if they achieve absolute power. This is not the American system envisioned by George Washington and the Founding Fathers. This is the way of tyrants and history has proven that.

Tlaib, no stranger to controversy, was herself arrested by civil authorities before being elected to Congress at a disruptive protest. So it’s not surprising she would be preoccupied with arrests and imprisonment as a political tool.

It’s also not surprising Attorney General William Barr’s name was mentioned as one of those targeted in her scheme. And if they do this, who would be next? And who are the other lawmakers she references as being a part of the discussions? Even if it’s just the Gang of Four or others, it should disturb all Americans of every party as it portends a danger on the horizon if people like Tlaib gain more power.
