Britt Adamson, age 30, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David H. Beavers; and grandmother, Carolyn Adamson.

Britt was a gentle, loyal, caring, and pure-hearted person. He was devoted to his family and loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He was a loyal and devoted friend to so many. He was a graduate of Phoenix High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed working on his motorcycles and always paid close attention to detail. Britt was, and is still, adored by his family and will be dearly missed

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Stephanie and Micheal Hawkins; father and step-mother, Garry and Lisa Adamson; sisters and a brother-in-law, Mandy and Drew Owens of Chatsworth and AnneMarie Adamson of Dalton; special nieces and nephews, Ethan Owens, Evan Owens, Bradley Owens, Azayleigh Adamson, Amelia Owens, Norah Owens and many other nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law, Erik and Alecia Hawkins of Plano, Tx., Anthony and Sabrica Hawkins of Jacksonville, Fl., Marcus Hawkins of Dalton; sister, Briauna Hawkins of Ft. Worth, Tx.; grandmother, Patricia Beavers of Dalton; grandfather, Edward Adamson of Newnan, Ga.; special aunts and uncle, Beth Hayes of Dalton and Alicia and Len Hixon of Lookout Mountain, Tn,; other aunts and uncles; special cousins, Jarrod Hayes, Kalen Ashford, Lauren Gordon, Mikayla Hixon and David Hixon; other cousins; special friends, LaDaris Green, Josh Waters, Trevor Quinn, Luis Sanchez, Matt Hueburger, Tony Nguyen, Trea Williams, Eslam Abdul Kareem, Liem Tran, Isaac Carrion and many others; and his dog, Lukas.

The funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Noel Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 6-9 p.m.
