Save The Wildlife, Mr. Berke

  • Wednesday, April 17, 2019

Why in the world would there be any question regarding the wildlife at East Lake park, and the humane relocation of same? Why would anyone need to beg for the right thing to be done?

Maybe if the ducks could ride scooters, there would be money for this.  Or maybe if they had means to pay for one of the so-called affordable apartments we have in Chattanooga, they would rate the attention of our illustrious leader.  Perhaps if they were able to grease a developer's palm, the turtles would have somewhere to go.

Obviously, I'm being facetious, but it is not lost on many of us that actions and words are very different at City Hall. I hope this will be taken care of in a reasonable and timely manner.   If that happens, kudos to the mayor and the Public Works department.  If not, you should truly be ashamed.
