William Boyd

William Odus Boyd, 85, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2019.  

Mr. Boyd was a member of Harrison Seventh Day Adventist Church, was avid golfer, loved his family and gardening and had his own airplane that he flew.  He loved motorcycles, baseball and the University of Tennessee. He built and flew remote control airplanes. However, he loved the Lord most of all.

William was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Mattie Levi Boyd; sons, James and David Boyd; brother, Urshel Boyd; sister, Evelyn Caraway.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ann Marie Ruble Boyd; sons, Steven (Sandra) Boyd and Joseph Boyd; daughters, Linda Ann Boyd and her partner, Pam Karlson, Donna Michelle Greenwood and Annette Marie Boyd; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank Mark, Joyce and the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving care and compassion.

The memorial service will be held at a later date.

Hamilton County Continues Upswing In Coronavirus Cases With 73 More, Including 49 Hispanic; No New Deaths In Hamilton, Memphis, Nashville And Knox
