Cleveland State To Offer New LPN To RN Bridge Program

  • Wednesday, July 17, 2019
Cleveland State can provide a way to change “LP” to an “R” in no time with the new LPN to RN Bridge program, starting this spring.

“Our program prepares experienced health professionals to climb the next rung in their career ladders,” stated Dr. Denise King, vice president for Academic Affairs. “We place a special focus on valuing what these nurses already know and build on those strengths as they add to their toolbox of knowledge and skills that they'll need as RNs.”

"Students interested in pursuing this degree should begin preparing by taking their general education classes this fall.
They will then be on the road to getting an associate of applied science degree in just three semesters," officials said.

For more information on the general education classes needed to enter the program, there will be a drop-in information session on Tuesday, July 23 from 3-5 p.m. in room E-217 in the Career Education building on the main campus. To RSVP for the information session, visit mycs.cc/nursinginfo or call 423-478-6228.
