The Point Children’s Academy, a newly licensed childcare center at 9129 Dayton Pike on the campus of Stoney Point Baptist Church, will officially open its doors on Monday, Aug. 4. The center has been awarded a $100,000 Establishment Grant from Childcare Tennessee to support the establishment of a high-quality child care center in the community.
Led by Director Ingrid Bell, an early-childhood professional with over 25 years of experience, The Point Children’s Academy will initially welcome 40 children, ages three to five. The center plans to open four fully equipped classrooms this fall to meet growing demand.
“We are delighted to provide a safe, faith-based environment where young children can grow spiritually, socially, and academically,” said Ms. Bell. “Our mission is to lay a strong foundation rooted in values, character, and love for learning.”
Brand-new classroom furniture, educational toys and playground equipment are scheduled to arrive on July 15, just in time to prepare for the grand opening.
