Audrey Albritton, 34, Dead, Man, 35, Has Gunshot Wounds After Early Morning Shooting; Shooter Kills Himself

A woman has died after two people were shot in Chattanooga early Sunday morning. She was identified as Audrey Albritton, 34.

A 35-year-old man was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Authorities said the shooter later took his own life. He was identified as Paul Kulikowski, 58.

At approximately 3:23 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 1400 block of East 28th Street on a report of two persons shot. Upon arrival, Police located a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
 
Hamilton County EMS pronounced the female dead on scene and transported the man to a local hospital.
 
Officers secured the scene and called for the CPD Violent Crimes Bureau to respond.
 
Investigators obtained information that confirmed the identity of the suspect as Paul Kulikowski.
Hamilton County Dispatch advised they were notified that the suspect confessed to the shootings and was threatening suicide at an address in the 4300 block of Kemp Drive.
 
The CPD SWAT Team responded, and after a short standoff, found the suspect dead from apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
