Glaphry Jones
Glaphry Sue Jones, 73, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday August 21, 2019, at Sweetwater Nursing Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Mamie Sue Phillips Veals; two brothers Grayson Veals who died at birth and Garlen Veals.
She is survived by three sons, Leslie (Tammy) Jones, Keith (Sherry) Jones, both of Decatur and Jaimey Jones of Cleveland; one daughter, Tenna Jones of Cleveland; one sister Glenis (Roger) Roberts of Decatur; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Brother Larry Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home Friday. Burial will be on Sunday, Aug. 25, at Sunrise Cemetery in Englewood, Tn.
