Spokesman For Bradley County Sheriff's Office Resigns Amid Criminal Investigation

 spokesman for the Bradley County Sheriff's Office has resigned after an investigation of "alleged criminal conduct."

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was looking into the matter involving Adam Lewis at the request of local authorities.

The Sheriff's Office on Tuesday received a report of alleged criminal conduct involving an employee.

On Wednesday, Mr. Lewis was placed on administrative leave. He resigned later in the day.

He has been serving as media and public relations director for Sheriff Steve Lawson.
