First Horizon Pavilion Unveils New Name, New Look

  • Thursday, January 2, 2020

One of the most recognizable facilities in Chattanooga now has a new name and signage to welcome guests.  Visitors to the newly branded First Horizon Pavilion will see new banners hung throughout the structure, as well as new external signage.  The unofficial opening for the 2020 season will occur in conjunction of the Four Bridges Arts Festival, which is presented by the bank and held at the pavilion.

This past June, First Horizon announced that it would unify its family of companies – First Tennessee Bank, Capital Bank, FTB Advisors and FTN Financial – under the First Horizon brand. "With a 155-year legacy of adapting to meet customers’ needs and responding to changing environments, the unification represents an important milestone in First Horizon’s transformation strategy," officials said.

In addition to a new brand promise, enhancements will include new investments in technology and customer experience innovations.

Chattanooga Market President Jay Dale said, “We love the fact that the First Horizon Pavilion is the weekly gathering place for visitors throughout the region.  It’s one of the many ways we support a community that has been so good to us.”

First Horizon Bank has been a part of the Chattanooga community since opening its doors as Hamilton National Bank in 1905.  "Throughout the years, the bank has consistently been one of the community’s most active corporate citizens supporting efforts and organizations which continue to make a difference," officials said.

“The First Horizon Pavilion has been a part of the Chattanooga skyline since 2003,” said Mr. Dale.  “From serving as the hub for weekly events like the Chattanooga Market to hosting tailgating for fans attending UTC Mocs’ and Chattanooga Football Club games, the First Horizon Pavilion will continue to be the place Chattanoogans gather.”
