Andrew Smith has been named director of Admissions at Bryan College.

Mr. Smith is a 2013 graduate of Bryan with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. During his time as a student, he played baseball and won the Lion of Valor award in 2013. He began working in the Admissions department as a counselor in the fall of 2013 and served in that role until 2016 when he was promoted to assistant director of Admissions.

He married his wife, Hannah, in 2018, and they reside in Chattanooga.

For the past several months, Mr. Smith has been serving as interim admissions director and has done an excellent job leading his team successfully through challenging times for recruitment, said officials.

President Douglas Mann and Vice President of Academics David Calland said they are thrilled to now have Mr. Smith moving into the full role as the director of Admissions.
