Donald Wayne Wax
Donald Wayne Wax, age 72, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the family residence.
He was the son of the late Elmo and Sylvia Wax.
Mr. Wax was a graduate of the Collegedale Academy and was retired from AT&T in Atlanta with over 30 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid NASCAR fan and The University of Tennessee Vols’ number one fan. But more than anything he dearly loved his family and extended family.
He is survived by his best friend and partner in life, his wife of 52 years Elaine Wax; son, Kevin Wax and his wife Dawn; daughter, Sharon Wax; grandchildren, Rebecca and Tracey Howard and Justin Carter; sister, Charlene Bryant and her husband Chuck; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Friday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with family and friends sharing their love and memories of Mr. Wax. The interment will follow at Flint Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at the funeral home.
