"Q For Kids" Benefitting Stocking Full Of Love Set For Saturday

  • Friday, November 20, 2020

The Catoosa and Walker County Sheriff’s Offices “Q for Kids”, benefitting the Stocking Full of Love program that supports children in need with toys this Christmas season, will be held on Saturday.

Members of both departments have been working this week with Wardlaw’s Lucky Eye Q to smoke more than 1,000 pounds of pork butts.

The “Q for Kids” barbecue sale will be Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at FNB Bank, 625 Battlefield Pkwy in Fort Oglethorpe.

For a $20 donation people will get two pounds of pulled pork barbecue along with Wardlaw’s Lucky Eye Q made-from-scratch sauce. For those who aren’t in the mood for barbecue, they can support the Stocking Full of Love program by bringing a new unwrapped toy to Saturday’s event.
