The only two senators who are putting their country before their party are examples of Profiles in Courage. That would be Mitt Romney and Ben Sasse. I was also impressed with our former representative Zach Wamp for speaking out about confirming the integrity of our election results.
The remainder of the U.S. senators are complicit in putting our country’s security at risk. I really don’t understand why Republicans have forgotten about the threat of Russia and China. Remember the Communists? Putin has orchestrated this whole situation we now find ourselves in. He has used Trump and social media to sow division, unrest and attack our democratic election process. A house divided cannot stand.
The refusal to allow Biden to start the transition and questioning the integrity of the election process is putting us all at risk and all for the purpose of short sighted political gain. Clearly their philosophy is what can my country do for me (or my party) not what can I do for my country.
