Frances “Frankie” Brown Gatlin, 72, of Jasper, went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2020. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Frankie was a born-again Christian, enjoyed attending church, sports cars, caregiving and family. She loved music and playing her piano.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Tommy Gatlin, Sr. and parents, Rev. Wade and Mickey Brown.
Left to cherish her memory are her spouse, Ricky Hill, of Murfreesboro; daughters, Dawn (Gene) Fuller and Shasta (David) Gatlin Donahue; son, J. J. (Dawn) Gatlin, all of Jasper; two stepchildren; six grandchildren, John Condra, Brody Gatlin, Blaine Fuller, Jacy Gatlin, Britton Webster and Dakota Donahue; three step-grandchildren; sister, Karen (Randy) Hodges, of Soddy Daisy; and nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29 at the Trenton Chapel, with Brother Gene Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Trenton Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday from 1-2 p.m.
The family would like to thank the health care providers, Parkridge Hospital and Amedisys Hospice of Chattanooga for their compassionate care.
