Georgia Has 52 New Coronavirus Deaths, 4,775 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Friday there have been 52 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 9,175.

There were 4,775 new cases, as that total reached 466,904 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 37,321, up 304 from Thursday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 2,456 cases, up 46; 34 deaths; 119 hospitalizations, up 5

Chattooga County: 1,268 cases, up 13; 35 deaths; 90 hospitalizations

Dade County: 590 cases, up 11; 7 deaths; 37 hospitalizations

Walker County: 2,983 cases, up 41; 53 deaths; 139 hospitalizations, up 3

Whitfield County: 8,789 cases, up 148; 96 deaths, up 1; 439 hospitalizations, up 4
