Norma June Short was born on April 2, 1941, and peacefully passed away on February 4, 2020.

She was born in Chattanooga, to Roy and Myrtle Gresham. She was married to Walter Short for 47 years until the time of his death in August of 2003.

She was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents and husband, brothers, Roy Grisham; Paul Hardin; and Carl Hardin, sisters, Emma Graves and Audry Vetter.

Left behind to cherish Norma’s memory are her children, Vicki Short; Donna Burnett; and David (Renea) Short, brother, Tom Grisham, sisters, Diane White and Betty Keith, nine grandchildren, Jeremy; Stephanie; Chad; Adrienne; Natalie; Megynn; Sarah; Chase; and Mickey, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.  

A Celebration of Norma’s life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m.

She will be laid to rest with her husband in the Anderson Memorial Park in Anderson, Indiana. A chapel service will be held there on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. 

Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn. 37412.
