Mavis O. Joyce, 95, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose Arrington. Mavis was also preceded in death by her husband, Dub Joyce; grandson, Bryce Joyce; sister, Geneva Smith; and brothers, Bill, Wingo, Charles, Clifford and Nathan Arrington.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sandra Joyce and Ronnie and Pam Joyce; grandchildren, JJ and Matt Haire and Tatum Hackney; great-grandchildren, Mitchell Joyce and Will and Eli Haire; brothers, Parker and Thomas Arrington; and special niece, Ellie Canter.

Funeral services for Mavis will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Max Caylor officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Bridge Community Church, 121 W. Crawford St. Dalton, GA 30720.
