Former Magistrate Judge Bill Carter will provide insight on the importance of the Bill of Rights in today’s society during a March 10 event made possible by local nonprofit think-tank Hamilton Flourishing.
The event includes a 30-minute discussion on the Bill of Rights -- the first 10 amendments of the United States Constitution ratified in 1791 -- followed by a Q&A session. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
The event will be hosted from 6-8:30 p.m. and is free, but registration is requested by Friday, March 6, and will be held at Events by the FEED at 201 W. Main St. Validated parking included with RSVP. Registration is available on the Hamilton Flourishing Facebook Page or on Eventbrite.
This talk is a part of the Tuesday Night Moot, a monthly series hosted by Hamilton Flourishing as part of its mission to address issues such as employment, family matters, government and local schools. Follow Hamilton Flourishing on Facebook for updates.
