County Commission Discontinues Practice Of Letting Unused Travel Funds Roll Over Into The Next Year

The County Commission on Wednesday voted to discontinue the practice of allowing unused travel funds to carry over to the next fiscal year.

Commissioner Warren Mackey was the only dissenting vote.

Each year the commissioners get a certain amount of money to cover expenses for travel. Under the current rules any unused money from one year simply rolls into the next year.
