The Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual "Salute to Education" to honor system-level, building-level "Teachers of the Year," a 22-year tradition.  Teachers from the Bradley County and Cleveland City School Systems were celebrated, surrounded by their families, peers, educational administrators and community leaders, with a Chamber maximum capacity crowd.

“Education is one of the cornerstones of a growing and vibrant community,” states Sherry Crye, director of workforce development for the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce. “It is also a vital part of all economic and community development – the two key missions of the Chamber.”

This tradition is a hallmark of the workforce development initiatives which pays tribute to the educators in the community.

Educators left the reception, hosted by the Education and Workforce Development Committee, with a gift from the Chamber-member sponsors who contributed money, gift cards and prizes.
