Convention And Visitors Bureau Is Now The Chattanooga Tourism Co.

  • Thursday, April 9, 2020

The Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau began transition at the beginning of March to the new name Chattanooga Tourism Co.

Officials said, "We paused extensive marketing and outreach about this branding due to the current pandemic and the need to focus on our community."

“The new name, Chattanooga Tourism Co., and branding is part of our three-year strategic plan and helps us communicate what we do and who we are,” said Barry White, president and CEO of the Chattanooga Tourism Co.

“We promote and develop visitor experiences for our community’s economic and social prosperity. Currently, we are focused on creating solutions to meet the challenges of our local hospitality and tourism partners and our community.”

The Chattanooga Tourism Co. will incorporate new brand elements into a marketing campaign after recovery from the pandemic begins.
