Claudette Jenette Hunt, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hunt, and grandson, Jimmy Gray.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Lakeanna Hunt, Volanda (Steve) Wright and Terry (Carol) Hunt, all of Cleveland, and Jim (Susan) Hunt, of Alabama; seven grandchildren, Kelly Wright (Cory) Gray, Marlin Wright, Kayla Wright, Taylor Wright and Brad (Ashley) Hunt, all of Cleveland, and Jennifer and Mindy Hunt, of Alabama; and three great-grandchildren, Jaci Gray, Jada Gray and Newt Hunt, all of Cleveland.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, May 22 at Cloverleaf Baptist Church, 2290 Waterlevel Hwy. in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 p.m., with Pastor Michael Coleman officiating.
