  • Thursday, June 18, 2020

Members of the public interested in the Tennessee Valley Authority’s mission and how it approaches energy-related activities, including its COVID-19 response, are invited to attend public working sessions of the Regional Energy Resource Council virtually next Tuesday.

The 20-member RERC includes representatives from throughout the Tennessee Valley and advises TVA leadership on the management and development of energy-related issues and priorities.

The working sessions take place from 10:30 a.m.-noon and 1-2:15 p.m. on Tuesday and can be accessed virtually by going to https://bit.ly/2ZwlVoK.

The RERC will hear opinions and views of citizens starting at 1 p.m. lasting up to 30 minutes. In order to make oral comments, members of the public must pre-register by 5 p.m. on Monday, by emailing efupchurch@tva.gov.

Due to time limitations, oral comments will be limited to two minutes per speaker. The public is also invited to provide written comments to the RERC at any time through links on TVA’s website at www.tva.com/rerc or by e-mailing written comments to the Regional Energy Resource Council, care of Liz Upchurch, efupchurch@tva.gov.
