So Which Is It, Kathy Lennon?

  • Wednesday, June 24, 2020

I want to first start off by offering my condolences for what must be a difficult time you are going through. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. With that being said, Kathy Lennon’s statement is just not supported by the facts, and here they are:

-Marco Perez is documented as Kathy Lennon’s Campaign Treasurer in her 2016 campaign to unseat then School Board Chairman Dr. Jonathan Welch.

-Kathy Lennon picks up her papers on Feb 3rd, as she has stated.

-Marco Perez picks up to run March 20th

-She didn’t qualify as a candidate until March 23rd, a month and half after picking up, and most notably three days after Marco Perez picks up his papers

-Marco Perez qualifies seven days after picking up.

A former campaign treasurer just doesn’t up and run against a good friend. They’re still thick as thieves which proves the following, Marco obviously knew about his good friend’s health condition, but also knew no conservative candidate had yet qualified. Her dropping out at the last possible second is inexcusable.

It’s very troubling that instead of admitting the wrongdoing, Kathy and her Lieutenant double down and blame Tom Decosimo. What happened was by definition Skullduggery, plain and Simple.

You and your former Campaign Treasurer owe your constituents an apology, as well as Tom Decosimo.
