Robert Gerard “HustleMan” Dowdy, 31, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020. 

He was a 2007 graduate of Howard High School.  He was a machine operator at Arcade Beauty for several years. 

Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Benjamin and Elizabeth McKinley, Sr. and James Dowdy; and aunt, Jamarva Kelsey. 

Survivors include his sons, Khance Dowdy, Makari Dowdy, and D’Marquese Howard, all of Chattanooga; daughters, RéLiyah Dowdy of Chattanooga, Kyleigh Dowdy of Nashville, Tn., Skylan Dowdy and Rie’Leya Reed, both of Chattanooga; mother, Taylor Dowdy; father, Reginald (Sharon) Dowdy, Sr., both of Chattanooga; grandmother, Edna Dowdy of LaFayette, Ga.; brother, Reginald Dowdy, Jr. of Chattanooga; sisters, Alicia Dowdy of Chattanooga and Shanice Dowdy of Atlanta; uncles, Benjamin (Tiffany) McKinley, Jr. of San Antonio, Tx. and Darius Dowdy of Austin, Tx,; aunts, Kimberly (Wilbert) Washington of Kansas City, Mo., Donna Garner, Paula Mclean, both of Chattanooga, Angie Coleman of Birmingham, Al., and Vickie Lawson of Murfreesboro, Tn.; fiancé, Temekia Reed; and best friends, Tavoris Tucker, Larry Bone, and Donish Hyter, all of Chattanooga.

Robert will lie-in-state on Tuesday, June 30, from 9-10:30 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.  A private family service will be held at a later date.
